Photography is Easy, Photography is Difficult

The easy part of photography is the technical side. Being a healthcare professional, the technique and theory of a camera and equipment is second nature. Theories like the inverse square law, and the direct square law, to develop prints in the dark room. Techniques like doubling intensity of light with either adjusting aperture or time as the controller. The difficult part of photography is the aesthetic side. It is very hard to figure out what people will perceive as good work, but with more practice, trial and error, ten thousand photos, creating aesthetically pleasing work will be easy. Subscribing to photography magazines, and following galleries are considerations to overcome the challenge to realize what people enjoy looking at, and using that as inspiration for original creations.
